DescriptionTo provide production for The Learning Channels TV show Miami Ink party at 1001 Woodward Ave. downtown Detroit. The party was on the 20th floor. and was split into two rooms. One room was the bar and a DJ and the other was the main stage with George Clinton.We had many challenges at this event the first was that it was on the 20th floor of a downtown high-rise so there was just getting into the venue and getting all our gear to the floor via a freight elevator. We couldn't fly our speakers in this room because of fire proofing on the beams and we needed to get our speakers in the air. On our setup day they were video taping an episode in the space so we had to work around there schedule
TechnologyWe decided to get down there a day early and set-up so we could get our 24' truck into Detroit easier and get into the loading dock without having to compete for it with other vendors. This made the whole processor easier there was no scheduling conflicts on our part which made the producers job easier. We decided to bring some staging down to act as sound wings so it would give our PA additional height. We had to provide both rooms with PA so we had two separate systems that were tied together so when the DJ was playing we could pump it into the other room and vise versa when George Clinton took the stage. We also, like we do at all jobs, was to go out of our way to make the clients job a happy and easy one even if it means fixing another vendors problem.

DescriptionTo work with a legend like BB King was a honor for us. We provide BB with a front of house system that consisted of an EAW KF 730 line array, Crest amplifiers, and a Crest console. We Also provided a monitor system consisting of EV Wedges, Crest Power and a Soundcraft console. The guys over at Onstage Services provided The King with back-line. All the guys in his band were fun and great to work with, He had a four piece horn section, bass player, rhythm guitar, keyboards, and a drummer. They put on a great show and would be happy to work with him again.

DescriptionMerging Media assist Message Makers in providing full production for the festival of the moon and sun. The festival of the moon is on Friday night in the beer tent and festival of the sun is an outdoor stage. The festival is held down in old town Lansing by the fish ladder.
TechnologyThe festival of the moon is a small system consisting of 2 subs and 2 tops, four monitors on four mixes, a small stage with some lights trees for lighting up band. Its located in the beer tent and is usually just one act playing several sets. The festival of the sun is outdoors and we provide a stage, stage roof. Sound system and lights. The sound system is 2 subs and 2 tops per side, 6 monitors on four mixes and all ran from front of house on a 24 channel console.

DescriptionMarshall Blues Fest is a one day blues festival in Marshall, MI that features one main stage and a small beer tent stage. It is located right in the heart of Marshall on Michigan Ave.
TechnologyMerging Media supplied the client with A one stop shop of stage, roof, lighting and sound. We provided a 24x20 stage covered by a 33x27 roof, 12 cans of lighting and 16 boxes of Adamson spectrix subs and tops. We also had out the new Digidesign SC48 digital console.
